My Philosophy
Who I Am and Why I Work in Physiotherapy
My name is Filip Chalupa, and my path to physiotherapy was anything but direct. Still, I quickly discovered a real passion and sense of purpose in this field. Physiotherapy is rapidly evolving and holds enormous potential to help people improve their quality of life.
It's also one of the last areas of medicine that still embraces a holistic approach—one that bridges Western and Eastern healing traditions.
So what can you expect when working with me? I don't follow a strictly "evidence-based" approach that dismisses anything not backed by hard clinical studies—but I also steer clear of overly alternative methods.
As part of physiotherapy and client care, I have decided to follow an evidence-informed approach, which combines a desire for knowledge with the humility of an open mind. I constantly strive to further my education and broaden my horizons and expertise through professional courses and seminars, thereby improving the quality of care provided to my clients.
